=>Go to divx .com an download divx player setup

=> install the player an codecs

=> after installation go to VOD menu on the top bar of divx player

=> select register a divx certified device

=> if u dont have an account it will ask u to create one

=> create the account

=> use the registration number found in your phone(settings=>about phone=> divx VOD) an register the device

=> it will ask you to download registration video

=> download video

=> copy to phone an play

=> registration complete....

Can I clear something up for everyone as I see on a lot of forums how do register Dvix. 1st thing you can follow above......... BUT

You DO NOT need to register for DVIX to play any file format. What most people have a problem with is red padlock Vs Green padlock. Pretty simepl red means there is some level of DRM (digital right management) on the file which means it will not play Vs the green on which means unlocked and will play in media player. If you have a red padlock simple thing is use any media converter to convert the file into a MP4 to play on your handset MP4 is much smaller in size over AVI, when you do that it will remove the pretty red padlock.

What you are registering for with DVIX is VOD (Video On Demand).

Which is rather pointless excise why as VOD does not support mobile products with my past 3 mobiles the same thing nothing. I have ask DVIX about this and they have said they will not release VOD for mobile as due the required data needed.

DVIX even said not to register my mobile product as it will be unsupported by DVIX and at this time they don't really care until mobile data plans became better to support VOD.

So register with DVIX if you wish but there is nothing to gain from it at all.
